The cure for boredom is curiosity, whether it’s exploring the world through travel photography, capturing the beauty of wildlife photography, or creating stunning portrait photography. There is no cure for curiosity. -Dorothy Parker

My Philosophy

I love a good story. Every time I click a shutter, whether I’m capturing moments in portrait photography, settling at a keyboard, or placing video clips on a timeline, I am focused on a story—hopefully one that is engaging, informative, and emotional. Sometimes it's simply a story that I feel needs to be told, much like the adventures I experience in travel photography or the beauty I witness in wildlife photography.

My Approach

I take a personalized approach to every shoot, researching locations, wildlife habits, and sun and moon considerations. As a portrait photographer, I focus on capturing images that reflect the mood and character of people, landscapes, and wildlife, blending elements of portrait photography, travel photography, and wildlife photography into my work.

My Experience

For the past 40 years, I have been professionally engaged in writing and capturing images, focusing primarily on education, nature, and sports. My work spans thousands of images, short films, and articles aimed at K-12 education, covering topics like geography, history, and earth science. I've had the privilege of working at two Olympic Games and one Commonwealth Games, where I also explored aspects of travel photography and wildlife photography.

Please note, I am NOT a wedding, product, or commercial photographer.
